There’s a similar pattern forming here isn’t there?

Unfortunately, it looks as though you are right. No matter what has slowed him down, it's hard to see him making it up now. On schedule, he should have been in Warrington ten minutes ago, but he's miles away.

He did have a couple of stops late afternoon, early evening - 1 was a bike fettle & refuelling stop, the other a get into night mode with lights, jacket, etc.

Those will have knocked back a "steady" schedule a bit but are necessary evils.

Surely built into the schedule though?

His tracker light has gone out again and Support Two has gone off up the road.

Tracker on again. Looks like a false alarm from me

Off again and nothing moving. Don’t seem very reliable and not even in a heavily wooded area.

Not a breath of wind. 15 degrees and misty in places.

Wind forecast looks very favourable for tomorrow though. Looks like he might get wet with it though.

So he's in Warrington, an hour and a half behind his schedule. But remember his schedule would have put him 30 mins up on MB.

So I think he is an hour behind where MB was at this stage, BUT remember the problems that MB had later in the ride, they lost him a lot of time.
