She looks to be still up on her schedule; due at Shap summit at around 09:33.

She was at the memorial at 9:19
I reckon Plumby on his JOGLE could be giving her a wave shortly.

Edit: or maybe not looks like Plumby had a lay in this morning :D

Is it a "constant speed" schedule? The climb of Shap will have dragged average speed back somewhat.

On twitter the support account reports that Christina is still on schedule and apparently the tracker on their site does lag a bit.

I was on the roadside for her this afternoon and I would say the tracker is about spot on. I knew exactly when she would pass me.
She wasn’t fast I reckon I could have held her wheel but not if I’d been cycling for over 24 hours. Her pedalling was looking good and certainly not looking as if she was struggling.
She’s just passed Blair Atholl as I go to bed. It’s looking possible will see what the morning brings.

Mmm, I wonder how fast she goes.

In the bike races I stage, the current (male) record for the 515 mile race is a shade under 26 hours, and the female record for the 24 Hour race is 464 miles, how do you think she would stack up against that?

Difficult to compare. There is a world of difference between place to place records and distance records. Place to place includes hills, mountains indeed, distance records are usually on flat ground. In the UK there are two types of distance record, straight out (which can start on the top of a hill), and time trial which is on a circular or out and back course so there is no wind assistance. This year the 24 hour time trial records were broken at 544 miles for men and 478 for women - remember that this is riding alone and unpaced.

place to place records and straight out come under the Road Records Association http://rra.org.uk/
time trial records come under Cycling Time Trials https://cyclingtimetrials.org.uk/articles/view/129

For those of you who don’t use Twitter this is the current state of play.

I don’t think she has any helpful wind at the moment going to be close.

about 60 miles left and 4 hours.

Doable if you hadn't already done 780 miles!
