A blog from last summers adventure with my boy on bamboo bikes

Post by willpom »

I won't go into too many details as many are contained within. Me and R had already been cycle camping, as we call it, quite a few times; starting off with a follow me tandem before he went solo. I had an idea for the future. A visit from a fellow audaxer from the USA brought the future a lot closer!

This is the 'summary' page with links to the rest. Enjoy!

Thoroughly inspiring. What next?
A bike does more miles to the banana than a Porsche.

Well we've done a micro adventure including climbing Pen y Fan from the north side last October. 2x 100km audax. R is still asking about a 150 and the other day a 200 (kiddy back tandem for that to start i think). Of on another micro this coming half term. Other shorter ones before the summer. Then I'm route planning for next summer. Several weeks again but I'll keep the details under wraps till after.
