The petrol station shop in Moffat has installed a 24 hour, open air, laundry. For those who might want to freshen up those padded shorts.

Reminded me of the old (Brutus?) jeans advert with the bloke sitting in the launderette in his boxers while his jeans were in the machine
Rob
Edit: Mr Google reminded me that it was Levi Jeans - the Brutus recollection was for the song "Put my blue jeans on"

We came across one of these outside Tesco in Swinford, County Mayo last weekend. I'd not seen one before.

If possible, check the drier works first if you intent/need to use it!
2 friends were doing LEJOG, the weather had been wet and they needed to do some laundry. They put virtually all their clothes in to wash, after which they found the drier didn't work...
They went to a local hotel, asked to be allowed to use their drier as they were doing their end to end for charity (a hospice). The hotel said yes and gave them free afternoon tea.

They also have one of them at the Green Welly in Tyndrum if your LEJOG route goes that way
