Hi All

Sorry to put a stick in your spokes re going over dartmoor,i did this in 06 and although it was tiring it was also one of the highlights of the trip for me,superb scenery and a challenge done to look back on.Perhaps you could have this route in reserve,if weather looks good go for it!
By the way Iused 26" mtb with panniers and tent ,solo.
Enjoy your ride,whichever route you take!

Totally agree, Robbo.

Dartmoor great, but tiring.
Weather can be rotten, but not always! In fact the weather can be glorious!

Have an alternative route if you feel tired or the weather is doubtful.
