I rode Penzance to Bristol last Saturday and Sunday and the wind was very nice. But it could have done with being warmer.
The week before on a criss-cross on Devon and Cornwall the temperature was great even the evenings were warm. It was like being in Spain or southern France.
Weather - just noting...
Re: Weather - just noting...
Has been seriously wet in Wales the last two weeks!
Destroyed any hope of relocating here with the Mrs!
It always rains here!!
I've managed to dodge the rain in the main and got out 10/14 days
Stupidly left my waterproof at home.
Cheers James

Are you camping James?
No photos of the rain?
No photos of the rain?

We picked Sept as I thought it best to avoid the risk of a heatwave and/or the wettest months. Plus gave me the spring and summer to get fit.
Off in 8 days time and America has the biggest storm for years....normally takes a week to cross the atlantic and hit Cornwall first
Just hope it isnt too wet a start. Does show the benefit of going independent rather than everything being prebooked. 24 or 48 hour delay might make a lot of sense if it was feasible...
