John Rebus does LeJog

Post by Enigmadick »

Well a bit of it, and in his old Saab rather than on a bike.

But dip into his latest outing "A Song for the Dark Times" where a lot of the action is set in the mythic village of Naver, presumably based on Bettyhill.

And if you liked that then how about Damian Boyd's "Down among the Dead", a DI Nick Dixon police procedural that is set on Sedgemoor, which is also on many folk's Lejog route.

Nay - just old fashioned crime novels, although they're available on that new fangled Kindle thing and possibly as audio books.

Ian Rankin was on BBC2 a few nights back in a museum in Edinburgh, he showed us a wardrobe that Robert Louis Stevenson once owned!

Made by Deacon Brodie, respectable cabinet maker by day, but criminal at night. Thought to have inspired Jeckyll and Hyde.
It's the same the whole world over
It's the poor what gets the blame
It's the rich what gets the pleasure
Isn't it a blooming shame?
