But dip into his latest outing "A Song for the Dark Times" where a lot of the action is set in the mythic village of Naver, presumably based on Bettyhill.
And if you liked that then how about Damian Boyd's "Down among the Dead", a DI Nick Dixon police procedural that is set on Sedgemoor, which is also on many folk's Lejog route.
