Eric Tremaine - interview with LEJOG tricycle record holder from 1982

Post by 24hourmaths »

As the title suggests I enjoyed an evening chatting with Eric Tremaine of the Leicestershire Road Club, who is now resident in Canada.

In July 1982 he broke the record for the tricycle End to End, covering the distance in 2 days 6 hours 18 minutes

You can listen to his vivid memories here:

Only started listening to these over Christmas, so a bit of catching up to do.
Really enjoying them, thanks for going to the effort and also for sharing, I hope plenty of people get to hear them.

I remember listening to the Andy Wilkinson and Lynne Taylor interview and they couldn't remember the cycle shop they bought their tandem frame from in Liverpool other than it was owned by a comedian. Does anybody on here know?
