Afternoon all,
I had to postpone my Lejog due to a chest infection, I have now re-booked for 20th August - 03rd September 2011.
For anyone else booking from now until September and need accommodation then look at the travelodge website I have just got 5 rooms at different locations for £15 each not bad I suppose unless someone else can beat that
Regards
Duke

Sounds good - do they have secure bike storage ?

Yes - it's called a bedroom .... just take the bike into the room, it helps to ask for one on the ground floor.
It seems to be expected by the kid on reception ... and, of course, don't ask ... just take the bike to the room.

Glad you had a chest infection (just kidding) as it means you'll be setting off the same day as me - I'll be the one in lycra

And if you are upstairs do you just take the bike up there too?
I've used TL once or twice, booking online, but can't remember seeing anywhere to request a groundfloor room.

Stayed in nine Travelodges and didn't have a problem once. A couple shifted me to a ground floor rooms on arrival, the newer ones had lifts which your bike just squeezes in and just the one involved carrying the bike, then panniers up a flight of stairs. Couldn't fault Travelodge at all.
