squeaky bum time

Post by mcpasty »

Only a few days to go now and the sleeping is getting nervy. Any last minute top tips?

e.g.is getting a new saddle that I won't break-in madness? My current one is not as comfy anymore- (Charge Plug single speed standard)

Thanks for all previous support and I can be followed below- will post back Easter Monday after 9 days of fun and games no doubt?
Cheers
Mc

not sure on changing saddle now unless other one hurts , your bum is what your got to look after most i think . i didn't and a niggling irritation doesn't take long to become a right pain in the buttock . i would pamper it every night before it starts -sudocreme would be in my essential kit bag . good luck and enjoy

Don't worry, you'll be fine.

It's easy to say that, but like you, I'd be nervous too. In fact I get nervous for ANY ride, I'm off for a 30mile circuit later this morning, and I'm sort of wound up about it.

Have a great trip, and hopefully this weather will hold for a while yet.

Good luck mcpasty. I'll be coming the other way (a bit more slowly), maybe we'll pass each other somewhere around Telford.

Just remember any small annoyance on a day ride is amplified by 10 on a tour!

Good Luck

Good Luck

Not only is the glass half empty, it's got a crack in it as well!

Good luck McPasty +VAT. I am starting on 13th May and really looking forward to it.
