Part of your route through Runcorn is too hilly and and not on bike paths for some reason.
I may well meet you on entering Runcorn from Frodsham and show you a much easier route.
Also when you go over the Runcorn Widnes bridge please use the footpath rather than ride on the road. A lot of blogs I read people miss it and ride over, am nervous driving over it in a car! If your travelling Runcorn to Widnes the footpath is on the right.

You pass my house on Thursday 6th in Runcorn, wouldn't mind riding along in Runcorn if you don't mind. Also if you need anything at that point let me know.

Re day 12, Your route over the Kessock Bridge is closed due to road works, there is a diversion in place but the signing was rubbish when last checked.
Several options exist, go to the roundabout on the south side of the bridge and cycle over the bridge along with the motor traffic, or cross the dual carriageway and use the joint user path on the east side of the bridge.
On the north side of the bridge you can use the carriageway with the motor vehicles, or
1 take the diversion route which takes a right and down to sea level, then along the shoreline and up Millbank to go through the A9 underpass to get on to the road to Drumsmittal.
2 cross the southbound dual carriageway(carrying bothway motor traffic with a 30mph limit at this point) and head west through the roadworks on the northbound carriageways to join the NCN on the south side of the A9. this route is shorter and has less climbing than 1, the authorities don't like it but it is the route used by locals during the road works.
