Off road Lands End to John O'Groats

Post by flash »

I was chatting in the pub the other night and the subject came up. Is there anyone who's done this or knows how much could be done?

Steve Thomas did an article on it in C+ many years ago but I'm afraid I can't recall which copy.

Also have a look at:

When I did JOGLE in '94, I stayed at Helmsdale YHA for the second night. There was a young chap there that was doing JOGLE off road.

Never saw him again .............

Maybe he's still at it.

sounds like a major planning job....someone's gotta record it sooner or later though. Chance to be an end-to-end record holder for someone....

Hmmm, don't think that any of us mere mortals have that much chance of beating Steve Thomas if he was doing it at his normal speed
