Launched might not be the right word, apparently the first trains in both directions were delayed for hours and everyone will get their money back...

That's probably the only time it was worth paying the hugely inflated price of a 'superior' double room.
A bike does more miles to the banana than a Porsche.

Yes the price per hour goes down if the train is delayed, might one even get a partial refund?

I once travelled on the sleeper all the way from London to Aberdeen. It seemed to take days. I didn't get any sleep. Aberdeen has not had a visit from me since!

I once knew a bloke who drove up from Garstang (and back again, later) to well north of Aberdeen, twice a week. He mentioned that he did sometimes get some sleep, until someone's horn woke him up again.
