Shorts and three quarters

Post by nickodemia »

I have ridden recumbent for nearly two years but am now also riding upright, it’s not nearly so comfortable and I need new padded shorts and three quarters. What are your brand recommendations please ladies ?

My wife uses Altura Pro Gel, both shorts and 3/4s, and finds them very comfortable. She’s also a fan of Pearl Izumi, though they are not so widely available. She also has a pair of Castelli 3/4’s that she really likes.

Although she likes Fat Lass at the Back tops, she doesn’t get on with their shorts, because they don’t have flat seams, and the seams rub against the skin causing irritation.
