When I started cycling there was no choice, it was small men's kit or nowt ...... I relish the choice we now have in women's cycling kit. As others have said, if it works it works, but pads are often designed to protect the bits that need most protecting between to the different types of anatomy.

One lady of my acquaintance slighlty tops me for height (I'm 5ft11ins) so she just wore the standard mens sizes- she is slim so that would probably work.

No doubt the late Beryl Burton would be most amused..
