The one on my Sprint is a large size, of the old model, so I cannot help.

I have a vortex hardshell seat (medium) and Ventisit cushion. from 2012 trike so not a VTX
The seat has the side restraints and headrest.
I have just purchased a mesh seat as I use the trike for touring rather than fast riding so find the mesh seat more comfortable.
I have been considering selling the seat if you are interested.
