Pumping-up KMX tyres

Post by Allydoug »

Hi,
I have just finished fixing my friend's KMX. I had a big problem - it was impossible to get a pump onto the valves on the front wheel.
However I found this on SJS cycles' website! :
http://www.topeak.com/products/Pumps/Pressure-Rite.
It is a screw on attachment for car size valves which bends 90º so that you can pump it up as normal. I don't know however if KMX had a different idea when they designed this wheels, as to how you could inflate them.
But anyway problem solved and an idea if you're stuck with it a the moment or might be in the future.
All the best,
Allydoug

The kiddie ones Ar 12" wheels or so....
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.
There are two kinds of people in this world: those can extrapolate from incomplete data.

My son's K-3 was supplied with a flexible connector similar to a traditional pump but with a schrader male on one end to fit the track pump.

I'm a trendy consumer. Just look at my D6603 using hovercraft full of eels.
