World HPV Championship 2017 - Mannheim

It is 200 years since the invention of the 'von drais' machine in Mannheim. To celebrate this the Germans are putting up millions of Euros to have a big cycle festival in Mannheim.

This will include the World HPV Championships which will be held in Mannheim 9 - 11 June (inclusive). This will be well worth a visit and many folk from the UK come out to follow this event each year. There will be about 8 folk from the UK competing including our very own legendary Steve 'Slash' Slade who is the current World HPV Champion riding the Beano streamliner.
