Only one 'bent??
A shortcut has to be a challenge, otherwise it would just be the way. No situation is so dire that panic cannot make it worse.

I stored an upright trike in my house for 6 months. It was a PITA to get out the front door.

Where are the unicycles ?
Where are the vintage bikes ?
Where is the e-bike ?
What you need is a robust rotary washing line with numerous hooks or one of those tracks that they hang carcasses on in abbatoirs.

Where are your friends bikes that you promised to fix months ago ?
Where are your family bikes ?
Where are the loaners ?
Where is the bike that you know is in there somewhere but you havn't seen it for a while ?
Where is the bike you havn't seen for a long time and suspect you might have sold but can't remember ?
Where is the bike you havn't seen for a long time but suspect is locked up outside the pub ?

Dave Walker produces excellent cartoons. However, he does have some rather modest copyright requirements when you share them. Which I've met for you by mentioning that link :D

Drossal, thanks for that. I just hadn't thought about copyright, even though I fully support the artist (and others) to have their work protected. I've no excuse.

Significant other ?
I'm not fussy, just an other would suit me as long as she stopped me buying bloody bicycles !
