Using ICE wheels on an HP Velotech

And visa versa. Do the HP and ICE kingpins have the same depth?
Any other reason why I can't do this?

From the Son dynamo page ......

HP Velotechnik:- axle end Ø 12 x 42 mm.
ICE Trice:- axle end Ø 12 x 46 mm.

ICE kingpins may be 4mm wider.

The axle is the same diameter and I get ~60 mm between the outer faces of the bearings on an ICE wheel with disk brakes.
I think drum brake wheels are 10-12mm thicker.
So an ICE wheel and ICE axle with a 4mm spacer (if needed) would work even if the wheels the wrong thickness.

Luck ........ :D

Thanks TB
I forgot to say the ICE wheel has a SON dynamo. Having looked at the pics from the relevant SON instructions it looks like they are very different axles so no its not going to work
