I needed to install disk brakes on a couple of bents and decided to try something different from de rigeur BB7s so bought the Tekto Aquila. These are noticeably lighter than BB7s but have comparably sized pads. Bought them as complete kits with disc, bolts and cables. Found them easier to set up than BB7s. So what do you lose? The outer pad is adjusted by cable tension only, and there are no conical washers between the caliper and the adaptor, which I always found to be a PIA anway. Happy enough so far.
