If you're anywhere near or can get to East Anglia then try contacting .......

Kevin Dunseath
Main Street, Little Thetford, Cambridgeshire, CB6 1BR
Tel:- 01353 648 177
Email:- dtekhpvs@btconnect.com

He can be a bit iffy to contact if he's busy.
But he may also be able to give you test rides on the trikes you're interested in.

Luck ........... :D

I have the KMX Cobra the model before Koyote, the KMX is well made and thought out, but comparing it with the elite and more expensive it in my mind “holds it's own”, but it is on the heavy side which puts people off. I've had mine for 4 years and still get a smile when I ride it after many thousands of miles.

It depends on your husbands health issues!
But Tigerbiten's advice is good.
Kevin should get you sorted.

Get Cycling in York are specialists in cycling for the disabled. I bought my Ice Adventure HD there - they have both Ice and Hase trikes to try. The Ice won due to being lighter - lifting into and out of the car. I have the seat riser fitted - my first trike I tried was a KMX and it was difficult to get out of. Great friendly place to go to. Mine goes back in August to have the Bafang electric assist fitted. Something else to consider.

Bafang 250W fitted and a long weekend away in south west scotland to finish the Carlisle to Glasgow route. Friday did 18 miles in a couple of hours without pushing it too much. Battery was not fully charged at the start and showing four bars. Not using more than 5 on the setting did alter the battery level. Charged it overnight so with a full battery and using all settings the trike went like the wind going over 16 mph without much effort on the old railway paths. Most of the time I went no higher than 7 as using 9 I could see the battery dropping. Ended the day on level 4. Sunday went out without charging the battery again for a short run of 20 miles into Glasgow. A lot of short sharp hills when I was on level 7 again and ended the day with level 3 on the battery. Looks good for over 30 miles per day without a problem. So go for the e-assist.
