Tyres for trike

I prefer Marathon GG to M+ because they are a lot easier to fit and remove,

Maxxis DTH is a high spec tyre which I find to be light and comfortable. I found a bit difference in feel between the 38mm and 49mm versions. The narrower felt much quicker with less lateral scrub.

Swalbe Shreddas. Are a BMX race tyre but reasonably durable. Not on trike but Irun them during the summer months on the Grasshopper or Kojaks, depends upon what you are intending on doing

I really like the Shredda, but Schwalbe discontinued it in 2016. They are pretty fast (the wider, the faster! Even the cheap and "slow" Shredda Performance 50-406 is slightly faster than the Shredda Evolution 40-406. The Shredda Evo 50-406 is among of the fastest 20" tires available), but have no puncture protection.

While the Kojak offers nice handling and good comfort, it ain't no quick tire (equally slow as the Marathon "Racer").

I used the Maxxis DTH 39-406 on my Milan velomobile. Its a really nice and quick tire with very good wet grip!
No puncture protection either, though. Non the less, the DTH is a very good substitute for the discontinued Shredda.
