Trident Stowaway II - Any good?

Post by fullfathom5 »

I'm thinking of entering the world of recumbent trikes as a shoulder problem is making riding a normal bike difficult.

My maximum budget is £1000 and I have seen a second-hand Trident Stowaway II advertised that seems to fit the bill. Does anybody have any experience of this trike and, if so, can they advies on what is good / bad, etc. please? Also, what would be a fair price (it's advertised at £1000 but the owner is open to offer)? Thanks

This any help? Never heard of one in the UK before (assuming you're in the UK?). My personal preference would be for a secondhand ICE (partly for the UK spares supply, partly for the drum brakes, partly for the reputation, partly....), but then there are two in our garage...
