Recumbent trike friendly helmet

Post by Tilley »

I was recently looking to replace my helmet and wanted something that didn't compromise the head/neck rest on the trike. After reading reviews on Google I chose to go with the Lazer Blade+ and I can confirm that it does fit well and does not interfere with the neck rest.

If you have the stability of three wheels why do you feel you need a helmet?

There are a good proportion of recumbent trike riders who have flipped a trike at some point. I guess a helmet might also earn its keep in a side impact from a motor vehicle.
