For info; HP are bringing out a full suspension folding trike for 2009. See here for details.

Looks very good but my concern is the weight (which I can't seem to find anywhere...). I suspecting 20kg+ unless they've done something clever.

That's pretty impressive.

I don't see how the one (folded) get's to the other (trike). I suspect it's either a brilliant piece of engineering or a 30 minute intense engineering course each time you get it out...

Weight starting from 17,9 kg, quoted in the news report. Yes, by the time you add mud guards, rack, etc, probably 20 to 21Kgs. The Scorpion FX version starts at 17,1Kgs, so seems the front suspension isn't adding much to the weight.

I presume the FS will use the same method of folding as the FX model. 90 seconds to fold it down completely.
