Karrimor Bardale Panier bag 1984 AS NEW

Postby CRingsing » 7 Sep 2019, 10:31am

Hello all.
Will anybody here be interested in buying my fire engine red Karrimor Bardale handlebar panier.

It’s only used once, at a bike trip in Denmark in the summer of 1984. It was micturating down for 2 weeks solidly, and I haven’t been on any bike holidays since.

The colours of the bag is as bright as when new, and the plastic at the map pocket hasn’t discoloured at all and the plastic is as flexible as back then.

The bag is (obviously) from the days where Karrimor products were ‘carefully made’ in the UK, why it’s still a fantastically looking item. I’ve no idea what it’s worth to anyone, but if there are people here interested, feel free to send me a suggestion or any questions you may have.

You could offer it to the National Cycling Museum in Llandrindod Wells
Must be quite rare, in top condition
Entertainer, juvenile, curmudgeon
Cycling-of course, but it is far better on a Gillott
