8-speed barcon, downtube shifter, or thumbie

Postby directdrive » 13 Dec 2018, 10:23am

After a single 8-speed bar end shifter (Shimano/Sunrace etc), downtube shifter, or thumb shifter if anyone has one knocking around. Standard Shimano pull ratio.

I think I have a standard 8 speed Sunrace d/t shifter somewhere- any good?

Should be. Would that be the R80 or similar?

Ah, it turns out I could only turn up a seven speed shifter (R30) in my shifters box but I'm certain that there's also an eight speed one:) I'll search elsewhere but this could take a while and of course if something else comes along that might be the best bet as mine might not appear.

I'm also after a downtube shifter - a Left/Front friction shifter. So maybe if someone has a pair, we can have one each!

Would you be interested in an unused cheap trigger shifter? I'm about to have one surplus, though postage costs might not make it viable, if you were also interested in a new 8 spd cassette it would become more so
