Does anyone have one to spare even if it has a damaged spider /chainrings or a front right from a dead tandem set.
I'm trying to replace a damaged right crank on a friend's static bike (it has come loose in use & damaged the crank). My ideal would be a spiderless/chainringless right crank with a diamond oriented taper hole or, failing that, a pair of ST cranks (state of spider/chainrings immaterial as they will be removed one way or another).
It/ they need to be the modern shape (that curve out from a short BB) rather than the older straight profile. (I've tried an old crank & it fouls the static bike's casing with the current, short BB length & I don't know whether it has a conventional BB if I were to delve inside).
See image below for shape of current crank (Picture/1000 words & all that).
Thanks in advance.

For anyone interested - I found some inexpensive new cranks without chainrings that fit (although I need to remove the spider arms as they foul the casing but were 1/4 of the price compared to ones I could find with no spider).
