Look Pedal Axle Tool

Postby joost » 1 Aug 2020, 7:56pm

Hello,

I’m still using older look Pedals, delta plates. Models A 5.1 and CX6.

I have a few pairs which are in need of new bearings, greasing and require the Look tool, a red nylon “thingy”!

Has anybody got one at the bottom of their tool box I could buy?

Thanks in anticipation. J

SJSC have them but £15 for a bit of plastic seems excessive, when the shimano equivalent, but dosen't fit is only a couple of quid and were given away with their pedals at one time. The look ones are 8 spline the shimano one are 10 spline. :(

It doesn't look difficult to make one from a scrap of thick sheet material using a drill and file.

Thanks, agreed, I think they’re out of stock at SJS. Seen them for £25!! If the pedals are pooped anyway it’s a lot of money. I have the Shimano tool but typically it doesn’t fit Look like you say.

All the best J
