Mudguard stay attachment

Postby amaferanga » 11 Oct 2020, 11:31am

I'm not entirely sure what the bit is called, but it's the part that (on SKS and similar mudguards) fixes the stay to the mudguard. It attaches using the little nut/bolt with the hole through the bolt for the stay. Normally riveted to the mudguard, but the rivets can be drilled out. I'm after one from a ~50mm mudguard so I can add another attachment to my current mudguards that only have a single stay on the rear.

Will cover postage and packing obviously.

Thanks.

Sorry to say that you will probably have to measure another and provide that info. I have bought spares before and they have been the wrong size despite being identical design.
I think the main issue was that the SKS stays I had were a little thicker than the hole in the replacement part... but don’t quote me. :?

Ah okay thanks for the heads up.

I don't know what brand the ones on the bikes are because they came with a new bike. But the holes do take SKS stays because I tried some I had on a spare parts box.
