WTD : Small or X-Small Winter training frame

Post by tuttonp »

I'm looking for a reasonable light, preferably steel, winter training frame.

My current frame is a 49cm seat tube, 51-52cm top tube (horizontal top tube), so similar dimensions (either horizontal or sloping equivalent)

Ideally rim brakes and eyelets for mudguards, running 25mm tyres, not really going much bigger. Tight-ish clearances is fine

Vintage/older is fine.

Gazelle Trim Trophy, Kinesis, Genesis Equilibrium or similar considered

I have a 48cm Orbit Silver medal frame, with lugs for mudguards and rear rack, mountings for cantilever brakes, c/w headset and cable hangers. Although not from this frame, if you want to go retro, I also have a set of Mafac cantilever brakes.

Thanks for the offer, ideally I’m looking for something that will take dual pivot brakes as I have a load of bits in my parts bin to reuse

Thanks for that. Good luck with the hunt.
