During a stay in the Pyrenees (foot of the Tourmalet pass), beginning of September, I found a Canon camera. Photos contained lead to thinking it belongs to a cyclo tourist living in the Blackburn area and who was on a trip eastbound across those mountains.
I can forward a photo of this cyclist (or companion) to those willing to help in the search. So that I am able to return the object to his owner.
PS I am french and live in Paris (and own a flat in this Pyrenean village where it was lost/found)

Slightly OTT...
Using a suitable programme create a *.JPG file with your name, email and mobile
Place this as a "protected" file on each camera and card.
That way which ever you lose it can be traced back to you

A suitable program being Notepad. Just take a photo of your PC screen.

What I do is print my name & phone No in my diary, photograph that page & keep that pic as the 1st one on my camera.
