Brooks B17 Sprinter Limited Edition

Postby WrightsW5 » 22 Oct 2014, 9:54am

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151444161897? ... EBIDX%3AIT This is on ebay, I don't know if it is or isn't but no harm in saying that it is there in case it may help a victim. Supposedly 2 months old, roughed up condition, no rear badge, no limited edition number visible. I contacted London police about this 5 days ago but had no reply.

Seems a bit unreasonable to imply that this is stolen without any real evidence.

Look at the pictures on large, it looks like it has been sanded to disguise it, the rear badge is not there but no reason mentioned, the limited edition number should be very bold and readily visible but it's not, and it looks like scraping has been done on the underside. I messaged them enquiring what the number is and do they have the spanner, but no reply.

Of course it could be totally innocent and I didn't say either way but I wouldn't feel good about buying it, that's why after early bidding then having a good look at the photos I dropped out.
