Sold. Thorn Voyager Tandem front 50cm rear 38cm (eBay)

Red Thorn Voyager Tandem.

I have used this bike for tours with my Daughter. She has now grown up and it has been sitting there until I can bear to sell it. I think the time has come to let it go.

It is a brilliant bike, I really loved riding it. It is really solid and stable.

Roughly as standard, main upgrades:
Front wheel: Deore on Rigida Sputnik
Rear wheel: Deore on Rigida Grizzly
Deore front brakes/XT rear brakes

I'd like £400 for it.
Based near Swansea - happy to deliver as far as Cardiff for free.
Too big to post I think.

Looking at EBay sales I think £400 ono may be more appropriate. I can put some pedals on the front too. Thanks.

Morning my friend, ebay is the way to go - we had ours advertised on here for a while without a sniff.

Sold it on ebay without any trouble, chap drove over from cumbria to pick it up.

Thanks jc.

I was thinking the same. I just thought I'd test the water here and see if anyone does want it before I move onto eBay.

So... Any takers before I go down the eBay route?

I thought it was closer to theft! Funny old world when any old tat has been achieving daft money, yet something like this Thorn doesn't attract interest.

I sold a small Thorn Raven Twin Adventure a few years back and didn't get much for it. That is with a Rohloff hub gear system, and paint in good order. Tandems are niche and the market is small. The market for anything other than the cheapest is even smaller.
