Nazca Gaucho Tour 28/26(Sold)

Postby swscotland bentrider » 3 Oct 2020, 3:34pm

I'm leaving recumbent riding and disposing of my bikes. (Not stopping cycling though!)
My Nazca Gaucho was built from a Gaucho 28 Tour frameset. It has a carbon seat (size large) and an Air shock. The Gaucho is very versatile and will accept both 26 and 28 inch wheels. It came with a 28" fork but I have installed Nazca's 26" fork and run the bike as a 28/26 AND 26/26. This increased clearance and lowered the overall height without losing speed. It is set up as a 3 x 10 with a mix of XT and SLX kit. The majority of the bike is new but the wheels are used. Tyres are 28mm Continental Grand Sport / Schwalbe Marathon rear and 35mm Kojak front. I have put the bike on E Bay and will accept the best offer for it. for it. P.M. me and I will supply images and a full spec. I can, if wanted change it back to a 28/28 with fork and wheel or even sell it as a frameset. Happy to discuss. Full luggage racks are included.

Cyclops I injured my knee in a non cycling accident and it now does not like the push off when launching a recumbent. The Gaucho was a bit more aggravating to it than the Fuego. I can be more protective of it on a conventional bike so I will continue with them. It a bit of a bummer!

Hi there, looks like a great bike!

How wide tires can it take, front and rear? Guess the rear tire can be wider if one switches to 26 there as well?

Any chance you might be willing to ship it?

good luck with your knee!

I've put the bike on E Bay and amended the spec a little. Now sitting on 26" wheels front and rear and a Tiagra triple chainset (30/39/50) installed.
