Suppose when the major at risk group for head injuries, pedestrians, start to wear them i might consider it .... might.

Wasn't there a case involving an elderly gentleman who didn't wear a helmet at night? Apparently he went to bed and bumped his head, and couldn't get up in the morning.

Mine (from Aldi) has a fairly broad mesh under the vents so wasps etc. can't get in.
Just got one through the post which has mesh, but XC type so more for stones

Helmets have never been proven to save lives. One would have to have the same accident under the exact same conditions to prove whether a helmet would have saved someone.
