Helmets to be banned?

There was a thingy on Radio4 a few weeks ago about using straw as a packing system rather than polystyrene. It was actually better too, plus it's biodegradable etc.

I just wondered that if they can make packaging from compressed straw, they could do similarly with bike helmets

Probably the medium is rather too variable.

They do sell a cardboard one though.

Corn is even better as a packing material.

Ship it to the factory/warehouse as corn kernels, then dry pop it and used the popped corn as packing peanuts...
