Hi pedalsheep.
Yes is still working fine through the London big freeze.
And the readings seem credible, inside and out.
Initially I had it dangling down the back of house and it seemed to be giving wonky high readings for the outside temperature.
I think this may have been because it was dangling in front of some gloss white painted weatherboarding and the sun hits this side of the house in the afternoon.
It's now dangling out the front against some matt brown tiles/brickwork and all seems well.
I think it's really good.
And, big plus, unlike much stuff these days, doesn't run on stupid button cells.
If yours is really borked I'd take it back.
But do perhaps try repositioning the outside sensor.
Even NASA developed stuff is probably subject to wonky readings if positioned in the wrong place.

Hi Sweep,
I took your advice and pulled some of the cable in so it is dangling higher up the wall and, lo and behold, the readings roughly tally with what the forecast says!
Thanks very much. If only all problems could be solved so easily!
