On my most recent trip it was dark and pretty windy when I set up my tent on the first night, and in the morning I couldn't find the bag my poles went into, it must have blown away. Annoying but not a problem, and I had to nip off for the ferry early next morning. On the way back a week later I stayed in the same campsite, arriving at a more sociable time. It's not the sort of place which has a litter-pick every day, so I thought I'd look for my bag. Lo and behold - no, not my bag, but someone else's! It's doing the job pretty well.
Admittedly not the most reliable way of getting spares!
