The money’s obscene. Though 3 pairs of socks at £8.99 seems reasonable. Perhaps someone in the fashion world could be persuaded to shoot bike from Halfords/ clothes and kit from Decathlon/ diet from McDonalds, cycle tourist bloke at the out of season French muni.

They're taking the pith in the Guardian article - why do you think they chose that Charles Hawtrey looking guy to model the stuff? Now if it was in the Telegraph they'd probably be serious.

It’s funny but as I went back to my tasks I wondered for a while if the article was some type of wind-up - some folk would think it funny - and resolved to look in more detail when the daylight was gone. My views on the Grundian are now reset, enjoy that paper if you wish but it’s not one that I’d feel accurately and impartially informed by.

I note Mike’s point though; never be guided by your own prejudices and I’m sorry to say that for a little time there I was.
