Aldi (Cycling and) Camping Stuff Coming: 15 & 18 April

Post by mattheus »

There's a thread out in the main section, but noone has replied about the CAMPING stuff!

Has anyone found good stuff in previous Aldi camping sales? (my experience of their sales in general is patchy)

Yes!

The fold-up camping chair is very good. I think I paid around €25 for mine.

I would prefer Decathlon if you want good and affordable.

Yes, I'm a big fan.

I'm fortunate to have one of each in riding distance! (but even Decathlon sell some dud stuff, so it's good to get tips)

I might prefer Decathlon but the nearest to where i am is not exactly convenient! Aldi/Lidl OTOH are less than 1km away, in fact there are multiples of each within 5km
Convention? what's that then?

There's talk of Decathlon coming to Bristol, otherwise my local Decathlon has been the store in Barcelona. What looks like a small shop from the outside turns into a store of Tardis like dimensions inside.
