As reported in the Guardian article, there is no allowance for breaking the law; only a reasonable excuse for breaking the law. It's still breaking the law. Juries are great at this. I wonder if a magistrate would come to the same conclusion? We may find out on 10th December.

Think the case has been delayed to allow the police time to decide if they want to issue a caution.

Doesn't appear cautions are being issued.

Roger Geffen, 49, of Southwark Bridge Road, London, pleaded not guilty to entering the open-cast mine with the intention of obstructing or disrupting mining activity, and will appear in court in March 2016.


Others plead guilty and were sentenced.

.... but he missed the CTC Christmas lunch according to Cycle Clips .... possibly a serving of porridge may be in the offing come March?
