Given that the standing order were not changed at the January Council meeting I would like to draw your attention to the minute below, I now must insist that the process is put into place for the notice to be put into the April/May edition of cycle for candidate for regions that are due for election and for the casual vacancies.
If the motions on the change on governance fail to be passed at the AGM there will be not enough time to put the election process into place and the CTC will be infringing own standing orders..

David Cox felt that it was not in best interest for the Charity to advertise the current vacancies for Councillors in various regions at this time. He felt it would be better to do this after the Governance vote. Some Councillors said they would be keen to have representation in all regions. It was agreed to re-look at the situation after the January meeting.
6. Election of Councillors shall take place in the following manner:-
a) Arrangements shall be made to publish in the April/May edition of the Club magazine a preliminary notice of the Council Election for the following year, including an invitation to overseas members to apply for voting papers if required. At the same time preliminary notice shall also be given to the Secretaries of all District Associations.
b) Arrangements shall be made to insert in the June/July edition of the Club magazine a detailed notice of the Council Election for the following year, setting out the Divisions, the number of Councillors in each and the requirements for nomination of candidates including full name, home address, date of birth, and membership number of the member proposed, the proposer and seconder in such form as may from time to time be prescribed by the Council (which will include a signed statement that the candidate is prepared to undertake the duties if elected and adhere to the rules of the Club). The notice in the magazine shall also explain that Councillors have the right to claim expenses in respect of their duties as Councillors. Nomination forms must reach the Secretary not later than 15th August.
c) A separate voting paper for each Division in which a contest arises, containing a list of the candidates seeking election as Councillors in such Division, shall be sent to Members of such Division who are entitled to receive notices of general meetings or who have specifically requested a voting paper. The number of councillors to be elected for such Division and the manner of voting, shall be stated on the voting papers. Each member of a Division shall have the same number of votes as there are Councillors to be elected for such Division. Each member of the Club shall have one vote, which is to be cast by showing an order of preference between the candidates, with the most preferred candidate being numbered ‘1’, the next ‘2’, and so on until the member has no further preference between the candidates.
d) Every Member desiring to vote must fill up his voting paper(s) in accordance with the directions printed thereon and forwarded to the Returning Officer, who shall be the Secretary or such person as may be appointed by the Council. His name and address and the closing date by which voting papers must be received shall be clearly stated on the voting paper.
e) A Councillor or candidate for the office of Councillor desiring to have the names and addresses of members residing within the Division he seeks to represent will be supplied with these on request in writing to the Secretary.
f) Where an election is contested each candidate shall be entitled to submit for inclusion in the voting paper an address not exceeding 500 (five hundred) words together with a photograph.
g) The Returning Officer shall preside over and be responsible for the accuracy of the counting of the votes. He or his assistants shall open all the voting papers, reject any which are received out of time or which are otherwise invalid and register the votes recorded. He shall also report the result of the voting to the Council and Candidates both direct and through the Club magazine. Every candidate shall be notified that he is at liberty to attend the counting either personally or by an agent nominated in writing. A recount may be demanded by any candidate upon his giving notice in writing within three days from the date of declaration of the poll, and depositing with the Secretary the sum of £25.00 the said deposit to be returned if as a result of such recount the outcome of the election differs from that originally declared but not otherwise. The counting of the votes cast in each Division in the election of the Council shall take place within ten days after the last day permitted for receipt of voting papers for such Division. The report thereof shall be published in the next available Club magazine.
h) If the Council decide under Article 19 to order an election to fill a casual vacancy on the Council the foregoing provisions shall apply but nominations must be received by the Secretary not later than the last day of the month in which notice of the Order of the Council for such election appears in the Club magazine.

I can still see it. Not that it bothers me, but e-mail harvesters will collect it and you risk being inundated with SPAM.

I was talking about the recipients' email addresses, which he has removed. If Philip chooses to continue publishing his own address, that's his concern.

You might want to consider removing these email addresses from your identical Facebook post. Plastering other people's email addresses on the internet is, at best, extremely bad form.
