How do you 'validate'?

My 'username' is already taken (and now too short).

Process ends in 'we're working on it' then a completely blank screen.

I think I will just stick to riding my bike.....

Your user name is still yours. I can still log in with my existing credentials just fine, so if yours don't work, perhaps you should try a password reset?

That message about the "new website" is very misleading. It dates from years(?) back when the login system was changed, and doesn't refer to the recent change which is just a superficial styling / branding change of appearance.
