WHAT PROBLEM

This is an update; I am now going to reconfigure this to answer the question

“WHAT PROBLEM ARE WE TRYING SOLVE EITHER IN REGARD TO CYCLING IN THE UK AND CTC PLACE IN IT”

THE CTC IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT

Supports non-competitive cycling

To that end

SUPPORT GROUPS (RIDING /CAMPAIGNING)

Provided data, knowledge and information and offer advice to encourage the formation and development of local riding groups/networks and campaign groups/ networks and information networks.

DEMOCRATIC

Members’ vote for the council that represent geographical areas in an open and fair competition free of electoral maladministration, with the results of election publish in full.
Development in the role of volunteer that may produce new councillors

MEMBERSHIP LEAD

The members are consulted on the overall policy and strategy via various forums based regionally and the web and via the magazine.
COMMUNICATE WITH IT MEMBERS SO ENGENDERING PARTICIPATION
Publish non-confidential ASAP on the website of the council minutes and supporting papers, also any papers that is concern with the development of policy. There should be presumption that most information is non confidential.

AUTHORITATIVE - INCREASE OUR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE BASE

Generate date, information and, knowledge all area of interest.
• cycle routes, travel information and cycle engineering,
• cycle trade, traffic engineering, highway planning, traffic modelling, statistics law, human psychology.
• development of governmental and ngo transport, health, education, resource allocation and policy
• increase our expertise at all levels in marketing

NETWORKS

The development of our volunteers’ networks to generate cycling activities and campaigning at local level.
The development of our experts ‘networks to help in the development of policy at regional and national level.

GOOD AND SERVICES

Development of good and services to members, non-member and outside bodies
