British Cycling, so why give preferential membership rates to people in London? Seems like a good reason not to join this organisation.

They got tfl to subsidise it, must have convinced tfl that they could provide a better service than tfl could for the money.
Do using on London is clever, much as us provincials dislike the fact, where London goes we follow and policy for London soon becomes policy for the country. If you control London cycling you control cycling in the uk.
