British Cycling Ride Leader
I'm curious, does Cycling UK recognise the British Cycling Ride Leader qualifications? I've been looking at the Tour Leader course, but I'm really not prepared to shell out over £300, just to cover what I already know. I've taken literally hundreds of rides out, both on-road and on traffic-free routes.

In what context? Cycling UK no longer offer tours, so I'm not sure for what purpose you'd be looking for them to recognise your current qualifications. On a club level, no qualifications are required, though various training is available should the group want it (And be prepared to pay for it)

For the purposes of getting insurance as a ride leader, on rides I organised.

Here are Cycling UK's insurance documents, I suggest you read through the notes and FAQ's for Cycle Activity Providers.
