Now we have something / quite-a-lot to discuss and celebrate.

Well done to the women's team pursuit, yet another world record. Well done to Becky James too, keirin looks very difficult to win, I'm trying to figure out how much further she had to ride around the turn, I think it's around 4 metres if the blue line is 2.5m up the track, pity she had 3 riders side by side to get past. Now just hoping Kenny can get to the final, though I suspect Skinner might beat him if he gets there, he's been phenomenal.

Place your bets, Kenny or Skinner ?
In the last Kenny sprint I think the Russian just ran out of steam.

Gold and silver for gb. What a performance. When was the last 1-2 at that level? In sprint?

That would be JK's silver from Beijing, beaten by that spoilsport Chris Hoy... (IIRC the UCI had decided only one per nation for London.)

Pete.

I'm going Skinner but it's very hard to call. Perhaps Kenny's experience will be the difference, as he goes for his 5th gold medal with keirin still to come.

A great night on the track - well done Team GB. Women's Team Pursuit final was awesome.

Nice to see Australia's Anna Meares smiling after a bronze - such a great competitor.

Kenny v Skinner? A tough call but I'll go Skinner 2-0.

Top two in women's sprint qualifying too. It's going too well, it has to end sometime but I don't want it to. Second in the table now and the sprint gold to come.

Blimey. Cav just caught Gaviria in the individual pursuit round and is up into second on leaderboard with a few left to ride.

Well done Laura Trott, pity the rest of the evening hasn't quite delivered, think Kenny might be out.
